Lord Ram is the one who absolved Ahilya from that curse. The very touch of Lord Ram’s feet transformed Ahilya back into a celestial being. Even the most ancient Vedas could not fully circumscribe and circumvent the omnipotent Lord Ram who is the reincarnation of Lord Vishnu.
